Data Lake

One database for everything you run

CRMs, eCommerce, ERPs, and databases nobody else is allowed to touch. Data Lake pulls it all into one up-to-date, governed database, then allows you to use instant APIs, AI agents, and real-time apps on this data set.

How it works with

Close-up of the Commercient robot mascot with a hand on its chin, appearing thoughtful or curious.

A built-in MCP server connects any AI agent to your live data. It can query, aggregate, and act, but never sees more than its key allows.

Create, read, update, and delete what data you make available, with collision protection and audit stamps on every write.

Row changes stream to your apps instantly, fire webhooks, or feed polling, allowing for live dashboards and automation.

Commercient writes lake changes back to your ERP/CRM, and pushes new records onward into your other applications.

Bring business-critical data from leading ERP systems into the lake to unify finance, operations, and inventory alongside everything else you run.
eCommerce Platforms
Connect your eCommerce stores into the lake to join product, sales, and customer data in real time.
Accounting & Financial Tools

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

A single, up-to-date database built from every system you run, kept current on a schedule so AI agents and applications can act on it.

All the platforms offered in our SYNC and Pulse products can flow to Data Lake.

Not by default. AI agents connect through a governed MCP server and only ever see the tables, columns, and rows their key is scoped to.

Every key is scoped to specific entities, actions, and fields. Row-level security is enforced inside the database itself, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and every write is stamped with who and when.

Not necessarily, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Stripe can connect directly with a key. But for ERP or other system data, yes: Data Lake is populated through Commercient SYNC and Pulse, so you’ll need at least one connected system feeding it.

Yes, this is one of its core capabilities. Commercient SYNC writes lake changes back to your ERP/CRM, and Commercient Pulse pushes new records onward to your other applications, so the lake works as a two-way switchboard, not just a read-only store.
