Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
A single, up-to-date database built from every system you run, kept current on a schedule so AI agents and applications can act on it.
All the platforms offered in our SYNC and Pulse products can flow to Data Lake.
Not by default. AI agents connect through a governed MCP server and only ever see the tables, columns, and rows their key is scoped to.
Every key is scoped to specific entities, actions, and fields. Row-level security is enforced inside the database itself, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and every write is stamped with who and when.
Not necessarily, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Stripe can connect directly with a key. But for ERP or other system data, yes: Data Lake is populated through Commercient SYNC and Pulse, so you’ll need at least one connected system feeding it.
Yes, this is one of its core capabilities. Commercient SYNC writes lake changes back to your ERP/CRM, and Commercient Pulse pushes new records onward to your other applications, so the lake works as a two-way switchboard, not just a read-only store.
