Dodge gets cooler by the day. A few weeks ago, I told you about the release of the bad-to-the-bone 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, a car so fast it pulls Gs.  It’s also the main car featured in The Fate of the Furious, the newest installment in that franchise.  In a brilliant advertising move, Dodge has asked Vin Diesel to be the spokesman for the Dodge performance vehicles. We’ll get to see Diesel’s stony countenance behind the wheel of the Challenger SRT Hellcat, a Charger SRT Hellcat, and the Dodge Durango R/T.  Here is a preview of the first ad.

If you just have to watch that movie right now.  Google launched an update for iOS users that will let you any find media content and let you know which service is currently offering it. You can look for music on iTunes or Spotify, movies and TV shows on Hulu, YouTube, and Amazon Video, and look for games on Google Play. When you do a Google search, iOS shows you the icons for the services where the content is available.  You just click those icons and away you go! Seems like a great feature for long car trips or to amuse a recalcitrant toddler. Of course, the feature will also give you the basic information about the movie or music as well, but being able to order it instantly from any platform is pretty helpful.

Twitter has taken over the world. Okay, not the world so much, but the social media giant HAS taken over the news. Bloomberg, the multimedia financial news outlet, has struck a deal with Twitter to start streaming news 24/7 with exclusive video content from the site. Bloomberg will create news programming specifically for Twitter. The new service will mix live news from Bloomberg’s global bureaus with videos from Twitter users. Twitter’s stock jumped 5% after the deal was signed.
