Commercient SYNC Helps with Customer Insights and Product Forecasting
Spectronics is the manufacturer of Spectroline ultraviolet equipment and fluorescent materials, which are used to detect structural integrity, in addition to fluid leaks in major industrial plants. The company recently implemented Salesforce to help modernize their sales processes, and use Infor VISUAL for finance and operations.
Commercient provided a customized SYNC from Infor VISUAL to Salesforce to help their sales reps access important data from their ERP, without leaving Salesforce. This includes Customer Accounting Records; Inventory; Invoice History Headers and Details; Serial Numbers; Bill To and Ship To Addresses; and much more.
With the implementation of Salesforce and SYNC, the business has seen an improvement of 3 to 4% in their profit margins, explained Joseph Noonan, IT Manager.
The team uses customer order history, synced by Commercient, along with analytics and other data, to help with product forecasting, including which products could become a bestseller, where specific industry and product trends are going.
