Commercient’s SYNC application makes it possible to see your IFS data in your Stripe. It keeps you up-to-date with changes made to your IFS and Stripe system simultaneously. In your Stripe you can see a mirror image of what’s happening in your IFS system. Commercient SYNC is easy to install. We take care of everything on the back-end. Compatible Software
IFS
We have worked with V8. 9 and 10 are available. “You can choose between Cloud-as-a-Managed-Service, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or on-premise.” IF your IFS is purely a cloud-based ERP system hosted by IFS or an IFS reseller, then we use the API/web services to connect from the IFS ERP to CRM. In this case you would need to provide access to that web service or SOAP API.
With the Web Services/SOAP API, Commercient does 100% of the programming of that API. We only need you to provide access to the appropriate API tool for your IFS version. We have experience with the API.
On Premise Only – We will need to install our sync agent on the server, whether in house or hosted by a third party. We will either connect via SQL/Normal sync if you have SQL server 2008 R2 and above or ODBC sync if you don’t have SQL server.
For the On Prem version, the web services/API is for connecting from the CRM to IFS ERP, (phase 2).

How will you connect to the ERP?
The Commercient Sync agent (which is responsible for communicating with your ERP system) can run either on-premise, or in the Commercient cloud. Usually a cloud based ERP system will be connected to via an API from the Commercient cloud and there will be no local Sync agent on your premises. The API will be used for both read and write operations. For on-premise ERP systems an ODBC, SQL, and API connection is typically made from the Commercient Sync Agent running on a server in your network as a Windows Service, or as a Windows Scheduled Task. A connection to your ERP system is performed either with an ODBC driver, a SQL Server connection, or an API connection, or in the absence of an API being available we will provide the records for your ERP in CSV, XML or a staging table.
