North West Rubber Said Goodbye to Legacy Systems and Duplicate Work, Improving Customer Data Analysis With an Epicor and Salesforce Integration
North West Rubber is a leading manufacturer and distributor of recycled rubber solutions. The legacy ERP system didn’t communicate well with Salesforce, so they wanted to push important customer data from Epicor 10 to Salesforce, for easy access and to avoid duplicate data entry.
The organization chose Commercient SYNC, the #1 data integration platform for business, to connect their ERP and CRM.
With SYNC, North West Rubber can keep records straight and give access to that data to Outside Sales, for faster quoting and customer relations management.
“Having the invoice details are pretty important, because I can pull numbers into Salesforce, capturing APIs and things like that. We can analyze what invoices we’ve done for certain customers in a particular period,” said Shane Merritt, Inside Sales Team Leader.
For Phase 2, Commercient will implement a two-way SYNC. Opportunities and sales quotes in Salesforce will be converted into an order in Epicor 10. Merritt noted, “That is when I will see the most benefit, because then I’m truly reducing the duplication of work.”
