Most recently, Commercient has provided our customers who review us with a WWF elephant adoption kit. African elephants are family-oriented animals with a complex social structure. They play a crucial role within their environment and dramatically affect their landscape. African elephants are threatened by poaching, the ivory trade and the destruction of their habitat. Funds from an adoption kit go towards the protection and wellbeing of the chosen species.
Maybe you’re looking for something a bit more informal? Fortunately, there is a day dedicated giving called #GivingTuesday. It is a global day dedicated to giving back in any form you see fit, to any cause of your choosing.
#GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a day that encourages people to do good. Seven years later, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. This year it falls on December 3rd, a date that corporations and individuals have set aside to make a difference.
