Challenge
Before working with Commercient, Synthane Taylor's sales team was managing leads and customers through a combination of an older CRM module and spreadsheets. That setup gave management little insight into overall sales performance or where individual leads sat in the pipeline, so tracking the health of the business was largely guesswork.
At the same time, the operations and finance data the company relied on lived in its JobBOSS ERP system and stayed siloed there, disconnected from whatever sales tool the team was using, which made it hard to build the kind of reports the business needed to run efficiently.
Solution
Synthane Taylor modernized its sales system by adopting Salesforce Enterprise, the top cloud-based CRM in the world, to manage leads, customers, and pipeline in one place. To free the JobBOSS data from its silo and put it in front of the sales team, the company brought in Commercient SYNC, the number one data integration platform for sales.
SYNC now delivers customer information, sales order details and history, invoicing, salesperson names, contacts, and sales codes from JobBOSS directly into Salesforce Enterprise.
The JobBOSS data being SYNC'd over to Salesforce will help us create customizable reports quickly.
Results
With JobBOSS data flowing into Salesforce, Synthane Taylor's management can now track overall sales performance and see exactly where every lead stands in the pipeline, replacing the guesswork of their old CRM-and-spreadsheet approach. The sales team can quickly pull the ERP data they need without leaving Salesforce, and that data is helping them build customizable reports much faster than before.
Looking ahead, Synthane Taylor is planning a second phase of SYNC that will send new and updated Salesforce accounts back to JobBOSS automatically, letting the sales team work entirely within Salesforce while still giving the company a complete picture of sales, marketing, and customers.
This will keep our sales team working in Salesforce.
