Challenge
Insco Distributing's marketing team was tracking which dealer programs customers were enrolled in using Excel Online, since the company didn't have a real CRM in place. As Insco looked to bring in a proper CRM, it also needed that new system to connect with Epicor P21, the ERP system the company used to manage its data.
Solution
On the recommendation of Zoho account manager Mark Burgener, Insco Distributing implemented Zoho Enterprise CRM and worked with Commercient to connect it to Epicor P21 through a one-way SYNC. Customer and program enrollment information now flows from Epicor P21 into Zoho, giving the marketing team a home for that data outside of spreadsheets.
We're excited to have all of our information in Zoho, to be able to use the product how it was meant. And we're excited to be able to dive in deeper to all the details and customer information that is provided and take steps forward in that area.
Results
With Commercient SYNC in place, Insco Distributing has a 360-degree view of marketing and customers in Zoho, letting the team see which programs each customer is enrolled in and target marketing accordingly. According to Marketing Coordinator Tammy Brady, the company is excited to dig deeper into that customer information, and plans to bring the sales team into Zoho next to manage sales orders and other operations.
Right now we're mostly going to use it for marketing purposes, trying to capture what programs our customers are enrolled in and trying to keep track of business that way so that we can really target our marketing.
