Challenge

Hose Monster was managing its operations and finances in QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions, but the sales team had no CRM built to support the outbound business development program they wanted to launch. Managing leads, quotes, and proposals was harder than it needed to be without a modern system in place.

The accounting and order data sitting in QuickBooks also stayed disconnected from whatever the sales team used day to day, leaving them without a full view of sales, marketing, and customers.

Solution

Hose Monster implemented Salesforce Professional, the world's top cloud-based CRM, to modernize and streamline its sales processes and support a new outbound business development effort. To connect that CRM with their existing QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions data, they chose Commercient SYNC, the number one data integration platform for sales.

SYNC brings customer information, accounting records, open sales orders, open accounts receivable invoice headers and details, invoice payments, and multiple ship-to addresses directly into Salesforce. A second phase of SYNC also sends new and updated accounts created in Salesforce back to QuickBooks.

The benefits of SYNC will be better reporting, such as raw dollars, accounting information, and other important items that will help our sales team.

Results

With QuickBooks data now available inside Salesforce, Hose Monster's sales team can manage leads, quotes, and proposals with real accounting numbers on hand, including raw dollar figures and other details that help them work more effectively.

Sending new and updated Salesforce accounts back to QuickBooks automatically has also helped the company save time by avoiding double data entry and the errors that can come with it, giving Hose Monster's team a more complete, accurate picture of its sales and customers.

Salesforce will allow us to build an outbound business development program. Salesforce will help us manage our leads, quotes, and proposals.
