Challenge
Café Spice had already replaced its older ERP and several complementary systems with SYSPRO, and brought in Salesforce Enterprise to modernize its sales process, but the two systems weren't talking to each other. Any time the company changed a recipe or updated other SYSPRO data, that information had no way to reach Salesforce, which would have meant tracking those changes by hand, a task Café Spice considered unmanageable given how often recipes and product details change.
Solution
Café Spice brought in Commercient SYNC to connect SYSPRO to Salesforce Enterprise. SYNC brings customer information, sales order history, invoicing, item master data, price levels, and inventory from SYSPRO directly into Salesforce, and automatically pushes updates, like a changed recipe, from SYSPRO into Salesforce as soon as they happen.
If we need to change a recipe in SYSPRO, Commercient SYNC's that information to Salesforce. Having to do this work manually would be a nightmare.
Results
Café Spice's sales team now gets SYSPRO data as quickly as possible inside Salesforce, so they're armed with current information while working leads and opportunities. Having that data flow through in near real time also lets the company stay proactive rather than reactive; if sales dip for any reason, the team can see it and act quickly instead of finding out after the fact. Virgilio Felix says the company's overall goal has been to centralize and simplify its software, and Commercient SYNC is a key part of tying SYSPRO and Salesforce together as Café Spice ramps up its marketing.
SYNC gets the SYSPRO data to our sales team as quickly as possible. So they're armed with information when they're looking at leads and opportunities in Salesforce.
