Challenge
Bridge to Life needed a modern CRM to replace its previous way of managing leads and quoting, but important data between QuickBooks Desktop and the new Salesforce Enterprise system stayed siloed. That left the sales team without direct access to customer, invoicing, and inventory information from QuickBooks, and the accounting team without an easy way to see Salesforce data, like a client's accounts payable or purchasing contact, while working in QuickBooks.
Solution
Bridge to Life implemented Salesforce Enterprise to modernize its sales process, then brought in Commercient SYNC to connect it to QuickBooks Desktop. SYNC brings customer information, invoicing, sales orders, multi-ship addresses, salesperson names, and inventory from QuickBooks directly into Salesforce, and a phase-two sync will send new accounts and sales orders created in Salesforce back to QuickBooks.
Our sales team can view invoices and create reports in Salesforce with SYNC. They can really just dive into it.
Results
Bridge to Life's sales team can now view invoices and build reports directly in Salesforce, using data synced over from QuickBooks instead of switching systems. The accounting team also gets the Salesforce data it needs, like a client's accounts payable or purchasing contact, right inside QuickBooks. Once the phase-two sync is complete, Bridge to Life will have a full 360-degree view of sales, marketing, and customers across both systems.
For us, the accountants, we need the client's accounts payable person, we need the purchasing person. When we log into QuickBooks, the data we need from Salesforce is right there.
