Challenge
Architectural Iron Designs' sales team needed a modern, central place to create quotes, manage tasks, and track their sales pipeline, but the data in their Sage 100 ERP had no connection to Zoho CRM. That left the team without the product, customer, and order information they needed while working in Zoho, especially when they were on the road or at a trade show.
Solution
Architectural Iron Designs adopted Zoho CRM to modernize its sales process, then brought in Commercient SYNC to connect Sage 100 to Zoho. SYNC brings customer information, accounting records, order headers and detail lines, invoicing, item master data, price levels, inventory, contacts, and salesperson names from Sage 100 directly into Zoho, and a phase-two sync now sends new accounts, sales orders, and contacts created in Zoho back to Sage 100 automatically.
SYNC allows our sales team to live and work in Zoho CRM.
Results
The sales team at Architectural Iron Designs can now live and work almost entirely in Zoho CRM, with near real-time access to products, customer history, and everything else they need from Sage 100 right on their phones while on the road or at a trade show. Creating a quote in Zoho and converting it to an order now syncs straight to Sage, and new contacts sync over automatically as well, saving the team time and eliminating the double data entry and potential errors that used to come with keeping two systems up to date.
Our team can access Sage 100 data in Zoho on their phones when they're on the road.
