Adande Refrigeration Gives Its Sales Team Instant Invoice and Serial Number Data with Commercient’s NAV to Salesforce Integration
Adande Refrigeration is a UK-based manufacturer of commercial refrigeration units, best known for a drawer-style system that replaces traditional cabinet doors. Its equipment is used by restaurants, hotels, and quick-service chains including McDonald's and KFC across the UK, prized for extending the shelf life of perishable foods like fish while reducing energy use.

Challenge
Before Salesforce, Adande's sales team had no dedicated system for tracking customer relationships. An earlier bespoke tool built by a web designer fell out of use, and a CRM called Sales-i never quite did what the sales team and sales director needed. Reps had no direct access to the company's Microsoft Dynamics NAV system, so anything they needed, whether a customer's order history, invoice details, or which serial-numbered drawer units a restaurant already had installed, meant stopping to ask someone in the office to pull it manually. For reps visiting high-volume accounts like McDonald's and KFC locations, that meant showing up without an easy way to confirm what equipment was already on site.
Solution
Adande brought in Salesforce as its CRM and used Commercient SYNC to connect it to Microsoft Dynamics NAV, giving the sales team direct visibility into account and order data without ever logging into NAV. Reps can now see customer invoices and order history, and, critically for a company that tracks every refrigeration drawer by a unique serial number, which units are already installed at a given site, so they can plan a visit already knowing what's there. When the original project scope didn't account for every scenario, such as how NAV updates should carry over when serial numbers move between locations, Commercient's support team closed that gap once it surfaced in daily use.
Commercient's been brilliant. They managed to sort this one out for me really quickly. I was amazed, I thought I was going to be going backwards and forwards for a few days.
Results
Adande's sales reps no longer have to interrupt finance or customer support to pull a report; they can look up a customer's invoices, order history, and installed equipment themselves, saving time for both the sales team and the office staff who used to field those requests. When a serial-number tracking issue came up, Commercient's support resolved it the same day, far faster than Mandy expected. The sales team is also managing customer-specific pricing directly in Salesforce, applying each account's agreed discount to list prices issued annually, and the added visibility into real invoice and equipment data has made day-to-day conversations with major chains like McDonald's and KFC noticeably smoother.
They can access a lot more information, they can have a look at actual invoices and things. Whereas before it was, well, what did we charge them for this? Well, look, the invoices all pull through so they can see.
